Injective has launched its Super Intelligence Compute Index (SICI), which tracks hourly rental prices for five GPU models to give traders a benchmark for AI computing costs.
The index builds on Injective’s earlier onchain AI asset markets and its 2025 launch of an Nvidia H100 rental-price market.
The H100 accounts for 40% of the index, followed by the B200 at 25%, H200 at 15%, A100 at 10% and RTX 4090 at 10%.
LO:TECH calculates SICI using GPU rental-price data from compute marketplaces, with validation checks to filter outliers before prices enter the index.
The index combines the five GPU prices at fixed weights and publishes a trailing seven-day average, with hourly updates and a daily fixing at 19:00 UTC.
SICI perpetual markets are available on Injective mainnet and across ecosystem app integrations, allowing traders to take positions with up to 10x leverage using USDC as margin.
Injective says 47% of its active perpetual markets are tied to real-world assets, with 135 markets spanning equities, foreign exchange, commodities, indices and pre-IPO names.
Following the update, Injective (INJ) was trading up 2.0% at $8.01.
