  • Injective (CRYPTO:INJ) has joined the x402 Foundation as a core member.
  • Its network can settle USDC payments in about 650 milliseconds.
  • The move supports payment standards for AI agents and automated services.

Injective (CRYPTO:INJ) has joined the x402 Foundation as a core member, according to Crypto Briefing.

The x402 protocol lets AI agents and applications make payments through standard HTTP requests.

“We joined the x402 Foundation to accelerate that vision, where users, institutions and agents can trade, transact and tokenize onchain at scale,” said Injective.

The x402 protocol is already live on Injective, where USDC payments can settle in one block.

That block takes about 650 milliseconds, while median transaction costs are about US$0.0001.

The x402 Foundation operates under the Linux Foundation and has about 40 member organisations.

Injective said its AI Agent SDK also links AI tools with onchain trading, payments and asset management.
