  • FTX and Alameda-linked wallets transferred about $75 million in Ethereum (ETH) to Wintermute.
  • On-chain analysts identified transfers totalling up to 27,373 ETH across six wallets.
  • The transfers could support selling or hedging, but their purpose remains unconfirmed.

FTX and Alameda-linked wallets have transferred about $75 million in Ethereum (ETH) to market maker Wintermute.

On-chain analysts identified transfers totalling up to 27,373 ETH across six wallets linked to the FTX estate.

PeckShield flagged 23,639 ETH moving from an FTX estate-linked address to a Wintermute wallet.

EmberCN separately tracked six wallets transferring 27,372 ETH, creating a slight discrepancy between estimates.

Transfers to market makers can facilitate large sales or hedges without sending assets directly to exchanges.

However, blockchain data has not confirmed that Wintermute sold the ETH or funded creditor repayments.

The transfers come as the FTX Recovery Trust continues distributing recovered assets to creditors.

Following the update, ETH was trading around $2,687.28.
