A fake Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) site is using wallet-draining malware to target crypto users.
The site offers a supposed leaked copy for $50 or 1 SOL, worth about $102 when investigated.
Malwarebytes found code that can target wallets across Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Smart Chain and four other networks.
The malicious script can check wallet holdings and calculate their estimated value before requesting transaction approval.
Following the reports, Take-Two Interactive Software shares closed at $216.68 on September 1, down 1.37%.
The site uses real GTA 6 details, including the November 19 release date, to appear legitimate.
Rockstar Games has not authorised leaked or early copies, while GTA 6 remains scheduled for November 19.
