Crypto super PAC Fairshake is reportedly preparing to spend $5 million to support Barry Moore’s US Senate campaign, extending its political influence ahead of the midterm cycle.

Fairshake previously spent roughly $130 million during the 2024 US elections backing candidates viewed as supportive of digital assets, contributing to a wave of pro-crypto lawmakers entering office.

“We are proud to stand with Barry Moore, a leader who will fight for economic growth and make America the crypto capital,”

Fairshake reportedly said in a statement.

Super PACs are permitted to raise funds from corporations and associations but cannot coordinate directly with campaigns, instead funding advertising and media efforts to influence voters.

Moore, first elected to the US House in 2020, served on the House Agriculture Committee, which previously considered the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, and has publicly stated:

“Crypto is not a fad. It is part of our future.”

Both Moore and Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall have been rated “strongly supportive” of crypto by advocacy group Stand With Crypto, which tracks politicians’ public positions on digital asset policy.

Fairshake disclosed in January that it had amassed $193 million in cash ahead of the midterm elections, signalling continued large-scale spending by crypto-aligned political groups in US races.
