Enish has approved a digital asset investment fund of up to ¥1 billion to invest in Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) and selected altcoins.
The Japanese game developer said the fund is designed to diversify its treasury assets as more companies add cryptocurrencies to their balance sheets.
Enish said the fund will invest in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies based on market conditions and the company's investment strategy.
The company said it expects the fund to support its treasury management, while acknowledging that cryptocurrency prices remain volatile.
Enish develops mobile games in Japan and has previously explored blockchain technology through Web3 gaming initiatives.
The latest decision adds Enish to a growing list of listed companies using digital assets as part of their corporate treasury strategy.
At the time of reporting, Bitcoin price was $63,987.62.
