Dartmouth College disclosed approximately $14.5 million in cryptocurrency-related ETF holdings, expanding the digital asset exposure of its $9 billion endowment portfolio.

In a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, Dartmouth reported holding roughly $3.3 million worth of the Bitwise Solana Staking ETF alongside approximately $3.5 million in the Grayscale Ethereum Staking ETF.

The university also disclosed holdings worth about $7.7 million in iShares Bitcoin Trust from BlackRock.

The filing marked a shift from January, when Dartmouth’s Bitcoin ETF holdings were valued at more than $10 million and the endowment held roughly $5 million in the Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust ETF.

Dartmouth first disclosed cryptocurrency-related investments in 2025, joining a growing number of university endowments increasing exposure to digital assets through regulated exchange-traded products.

Harvard University also disclosed holdings in BlackRock’s Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF products earlier this year as institutional adoption of cryptocurrency investment vehicles continued expanding.

The filing came shortly after US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $635.2 million in daily outflows, the largest single-day withdrawal since January, while Bitcoin traded near $81,000.

At the time of reporting, Solana price was $92.39.
