Crypto.com said it has become the first digital asset platform to receive ISO/IEC 42001:2023 certification, an international standard for artificial intelligence management systems.
The certification covers the creation and implementation of AI governance frameworks and comes as Crypto.com expands AI services as one of its three main business lines.
“Security and privacy continue to be a core focus for us, particularly as we scale our AI-driven infrastructure and services,”
Said Crypto.com chief information security officer, Jason Lau.
Co-founder and chief executive Kris Marszalek said the accreditation was “an important step as we continue to leverage AI tools and technologies.”
The company recently launched ai.com, a platform allowing users to create AI agents capable of performing tasks such as trading and workflow management within crypto markets.
Marszalek said the goal is to build “a decentralised network of autonomous, self-improving AI agents that perform real-world tasks for the good of humanity.”
The move places Crypto.com alongside rivals including Coinbase, which has also introduced AI-focused crypto wallet infrastructure as exchanges race to integrate artificial intelligence into digital asset services.
