Coinbase-backed advocacy group Stand With Crypto said it will prioritise key House races in Ohio and Pennsylvania as part of its strategy for the 2026 US midterm elections.
The group said crypto voters could play a decisive role in battleground states including Iowa, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Ohio and Pennsylvania, where it plans targeted campaigning.
“Crypto voters represent a meaningful and potentially decisive share of the electorate,”
Stand With Crypto said.
The organisation is focusing on Ohio’s 9th Congressional District and Pennsylvania’s 10th District, citing concerns over the crypto voting records of incumbents Marcy Kaptur and Scott Perry.
Stand With Crypto said it will deploy aggressive outreach efforts, including digital advertising, direct mail, SMS campaigns and grassroots organising to mobilise supporters.
The group previously reported that around 270 pro-crypto candidates were elected in 2024, with many now facing re-election in 2026 as crypto policy remains a key issue.
The push comes amid growing political spending by crypto-backed PACs and ongoing debate in Congress over market structure legislation, which could influence voter sentiment and election outcomes.
