CleanSpark shares climbed after the company signed a lease for a data centre in Georgia.

The facility will support high-performance computing while allowing CleanSpark to continue growing its Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) mining business.

"This lease marks an important step in expanding our infrastructure strategy," CleanSpark said.

The company said the site can support artificial intelligence and other computing workloads alongside digital asset operations.

CleanSpark said the agreement gives it more flexibility as demand for computing capacity continues to grow.

Many Bitcoin mining companies are exploring high-performance computing and artificial intelligence to create new sources of revenue.

At the time of reporting, Bitcoin price was $64,950.35.
