CleanSpark has proposed $2.227 billion in senior secured notes to fund its Sandersville data centre.

The notes would mature in 2031, with proceeds also covering earlier project investments and debt-service reserves.

CleanSpark shares gained 4.73% to close near $13.40 after the financing announcement.

The notes would be issued through wholly owned subsidiary CSDC Finance I and backed by Sandersville assets.

CleanSpark has said the debt would carry first-priority liens on most assets held by the issuer and property company.

The proposed financing would support a 175-megawatt Sandersville data centre project under a 20-year lease agreement.

CleanSpark has also agreed to provide additional funding if the notes prove insufficient to complete construction.

The offering remains subject to market conditions, and CleanSpark has not guaranteed that the deal will close on its proposed terms.
