  • The mint reflects continued demand for stablecoin liquidity across blockchain networks.

Circle has minted another US$250 million of USD Coin (CRYPTO:USDC) on the Solana (CRYPTO:SOL) blockchain, adding fresh liquidity to the network.

The new issuance increases the supply of USDC available for decentralised finance applications, trading and blockchain-based payments on Solana.

Circle regularly mints and redeems USDC in response to customer demand, with newly created tokens not necessarily entering circulation immediately.

USDC is one of the world's largest US dollar-backed stablecoins and is widely used for cryptocurrency trading, cross-border payments and decentralised finance.

Solana has become one of the leading blockchain networks for stablecoin activity because of its high transaction speeds and relatively low fees.

The latest mint underscores continued demand for stablecoin liquidity as digital asset markets expand, although the issuance alone does not indicate future market direction.

At the time of reporting, Solana price was $78.35.
