Circle Internet Group closed at US$62.61 on 31 July, falling nearly 7% despite securing a New York trust charter.

The shares remained below their 20-day, 50-day and 200-day exponential moving averages at US$65.81, US$75.15 and US$88.76.

The Cryptonomist identified daily support at US$59.68 and resistance at US$64.53, while its hourly analysis showed neutral consolidation.

Circle's New York trust structure is intended to issue USD Coin (CRYPTO), while its federally regulated national trust bank safeguards reserves.

Following the announcement the Circle share price was down nearly 7% at US$62.61.

Circle received final OCC approval on 10 July to establish Circle National Trust, initially providing digital-asset custody services.

Circle also acquired nearly 1,000 IBM blockchain patents and will report second-quarter 2026 financial results on 5 August.
