
Chainlink launches APAC equities pricing feeds
- Chainlink launched APAC Equities Streams, bringing live pricing data for major Japanese and South Korean stocks on-chain.

Chainlink (CRYPTO:LINK) launched APAC Equities Streams, a new oracle service providing on-chain pricing data for major Asia-Pacific listed companies including Samsung, SK Hynix, Toyota, Sony and SoftBank.
The launch follows growing demand for tokenised equity products, with most existing on-chain activity concentrated around United States-listed stocks.
“Secure, fast pricing data is fundamental to bringing global equity markets onchain,” said Chainlink in its announcement.
The initial rollout covers Japan and South Korea and is designed to support products such as equity perpetual futures, spot markets, prediction markets, structured products and risk-management applications.
Chainlink said Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan pricing feeds are planned for future releases, while Following the announcement the company did not disclose volume, revenue or adoption projections.
The launch extends Chainlink's broader strategy of providing data infrastructure for tokenised real-world assets and institutional blockchain applications.
Recent developments in the sector include tokenised stock growth on Ethereum (CRYPTO:ETH) and a venture between Intercontinental Exchange and OKX aimed at developing tokenised equity markets.
