Chainalysis Government Solutions challenged a US$94.66 million sole-source contract awarded by ICE to TRM Labs.

The contract covers forensic software and support for Homeland Security Task Force investigations from July 2026 to June 2027.

“CGS addressed each primary mission area identified in the Agency's Statement of Need,” the lawsuit claims.

Chainalysis alleges ICE relied on requirements from an earlier request that were not included in the later Statement of Need.

The company also alleges ICE gave potential rivals three days to submit one-page capability statements before selecting TRM Labs.

Chainalysis first challenged the award at the Government Accountability Office before moving the dispute to the US Court of Federal Claims.

The court has not ruled on the allegations, while TRM Labs has intervened to defend the award and oral arguments are scheduled for September 2.
