National Geographic Shares its 130+ Year Story

Since first forming as a scientific club in 1888, National Geographic has evolved into one of the world's most recognizable magazines in the world. Chief Storytelling Officer Kaitlin Yarnall joins Bloomberg Businessweek Daily to discuss National Geographic's news book which tells the 130+ year history of the organizations "legendary photographs, artifacts, adventures, and discoveries that changed the world."

HPE Boosts Forecast on Positive Networking Outlook

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. boosted its networking revenue forecast and announced a $1.2 billion order from cloud company Vultr, giving fresh signals that it's benefiting from the AI build-out. The company, which expanded its networking business by acquiring Juniper Networks last year, now expects that segment to range from the high teens to the low 20s in percentage sales growth during fiscal 2027. The company also gave a longer-range sales outlook in the high teens, with an operating margin target of as much as the high 20s. For more, we speak with Marie Myers, Chief Financial Officer at HPE.

Micron Forecast Tops Estimates on Booming AI Memory Demand

Micron Technology Inc., the largest US maker of memory chips, gave a sales forecast for the current quarter that shattered estimates after the AI building frenzy fueled unprecedented demand. Revenue will be about $61.5 billion in the fiscal first quarter, which runs through November, the company said in a statement Wednesday. Analysts estimated $56.8 billion on average. Excluding some items, profit will be about $38.15 a share, compared with a projection of $36.02. We get reaction from Jake Silverman, Bloomberg Intelligence Semiconductor Analyst.
