Share
  • The Canary HBAR ETF attracted US$989,000 in net inflows on 2 July, marking its largest daily inflow since 15 May.
  • Hedera's HBAR token continued trading below US$0.08 despite renewed institutional interest through the exchange-traded fund.
  • Investors are watching whether further ETF inflows can support broader demand for HBAR after a subdued period for the token.

The Canary HBAR ETF recorded US$989,000 in net inflows on 2 July, its largest single-day inflow since 15 May, while continuing to provide regulated exposure to Hedera (CRYPTO:HBAR) through traditional brokerage accounts.

The latest inflow comes as HBAR traded at approximately US$0.0752, up 0.75% over 24 hours and 5.67% over the past week, with a market capitalisation of about US$3.29 billion and daily trading volume of US$68.95 million.

Canary's fund information shows the ETF held net assets of approximately US$49.14 million as of 2 July, with a market price of US$9.92, a net asset value of US$9.89 and a 0.95% sponsor fee.

The ETF is designed to hold HBAR directly, with custody provided by BitGo Trust Company and Coinbase Custody Trust Company, giving investors exposure to the cryptocurrency without requiring direct token ownership.

Despite the latest ETF inflow, HBAR continues trading well below its September 2021 all-time high of US$0.5692 and remains under the US$0.08 to US$0.10 range that has limited several recovery attempts during 2026.

Hedera continues to focus on enterprise blockchain applications, including payments, tokenisation and decentralised applications, while HBAR remains the network token used to pay transaction fees and support network activity.

The latest ETF inflow highlights continuing institutional interest in regulated HBAR investment products, although sustained inflows and stronger token demand may be needed before the cryptocurrency can establish a broader price recovery.

At the time of reporting, Hedera price was $0.07552.
