Solana meme coin launchpad BONK.fun warned users to stop interacting with its website after attackers compromised the platform’s domain and deployed a wallet drainer.

The project confirmed that a malicious actor gained control of a team account and used it to run the wallet-draining exploit through the BONK.fun domain.

“A malicious actor has compromised the BONKfun domain, do not interact with the website until we have secured everything,”

The project said in a statement posted on X.

The incident exposes users who interacted with the site after the breach to the risk of losing funds from connected wallets.

BONK token prices fell about 0.9% in the 24 hours following the announcement, trading near $0.055879 at the time of reporting.

The security breach comes as BONK.fun has already been losing market share within Solana’s token launchpad sector.

Data from Dune Analytics shows the platform’s share of the Solana launchpad market dropped from about 84% in mid-2025 to roughly 7% by the end of the year as rival Pump.fun gained traction.

At the time of reporting, Solana price was $85.02.
