Blockchain.com expands tokenised assets to 430
- Blockchain.com added 173 tokenised stocks and ETFs through a partnership with Ondo Finance, expanding its catalogue to more than 430 assets.
- The launch broadens access to tokenised equities, Treasury products and thematic investment baskets across multiple blockchains.
- The expansion comes as tokenised equities grow rapidly and regulators consider changes that could support onchain stock trading.
Blockchain.com added 173 tokenised stocks and exchange-traded funds through a partnership with Ondo Finance, increasing its offering of tokenised traditional assets to more than 430 products across Ethereum (CRYPTO:ETH), Solana (CRYPTO:SOL) and BNB Chain.
The expansion comes as the tokenised equities market continues to grow, with distributed value rising to about US$1.57 billion from roughly US$330 million a year earlier, according to RWA.xyz data.
“The assets are available immediately through Ondo's routing and liquidity infrastructure,” said Blockchain.com in its announcement.
The new listings include tokenised exposure to private companies, active ETFs, Treasury products, covered-call strategies and themed investment baskets focused on artificial intelligence, energy, robotics, autonomous vehicles and quantum computing.
Blockchain.com said the partnership broadens access to onchain traditional assets as demand increases for tokenised investment products, and following the announcement Blockchain.com remains privately held with no share price available.
Ondo Finance, which reports about US$3.8 billion in tokenised assets across 267 products, provides the routing and liquidity infrastructure supporting all 173 new listings launched through the partnership.
The rollout follows a broader industry push into tokenised equities, with exchanges, wallet providers and financial platforms expanding access to onchain stocks and ETFs while regulators evaluate changes that could reduce barriers to tokenised securities trading.
At the time of reporting, Ethereum price was $1,754.67.
