BitMine Immersion Technologies has expanded its Ethereum (CRYPTO:ETH) holdings to 5.78 million ETH following another purchase as part of its treasury strategy.
The company said the latest acquisition strengthens its position as it continues accumulating Ethereum to support its long-term digital asset strategy.
“There has never been a better time to build one of the largest Ethereum treasuries in the world. We believe Ethereum will become the foundational infrastructure for the next generation of global finance,” said BitMine Chairman Tom Lee.
BitMine has been steadily increasing its Ethereum holdings as more publicly listed companies explore cryptocurrency treasury strategies beyond Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC).
The company said Ethereum's role in decentralised finance, tokenisation and stablecoin infrastructure supports its long-term investment thesis.
Corporate interest in Ethereum has grown as businesses seek exposure to blockchain networks that support smart contracts and tokenised financial assets.
BitMine said it will continue evaluating opportunities to expand its Ethereum treasury while supporting shareholder value through its digital asset strategy.
At the time of reporting, Ethereum price was $1,905.09.
