  • BitMart will stop all trading services on 26 August as it winds down operations.
  • The exchange plans to fully cease platform operations by 31 January 2027.
  • Users have been urged to close positions and withdraw assets during the transition.

BitMart has announced it will wind down its cryptocurrency exchange, ending all trading services on 26 August before shutting down the platform completely on 31 January 2027.

The exchange has already stopped new user registrations, deposits and new trading orders as part of a phased closure following a review of its operating conditions, market environment and future strategy.

BitMart said futures accounts have entered reduce-only mode, while copy trading, staking, lending and other services will be discontinued in stages before trading ends.

Users have been advised to complete identity verification, close any remaining positions and submit withdrawal requests before the trading deadline to avoid disruptions.

The exchange said withdrawal services will remain available after trading stops, although additional compliance and identity checks may delay some requests as users leave the platform.

BitMart's closure follows a series of recent shutdowns across the cryptocurrency exchange sector, highlighting the operational challenges facing some trading platforms.
