Bitget Wallet sells $13M SpaceX tokens

Bitget Wallet's tokenised SpaceX IPO subscription sold out within 30 minutes after attracting US$13 million in commitments, underscoring growing demand for blockchain-based access to high-profile equity offerings.

The offering, powered by xStocks and conducted on the Solana blockchain, initially launched with a US$3 million allocation on June 9 before strong demand forced the company to increase the size to US$13 million.

All available allocations were fully committed within the same 30-minute period, with users participating directly from self-custodial wallets using USDT and USDC without requiring assets to be held on a centralised exchange.

The company said the offering reflects increasing interest from investors looking to gain exposure to sought-after equity listings through blockchain infrastructure rather than traditional brokerage platforms, with participation available from as little as US$10.

Bitget Wallet is expanding its push into tokenised real-world assets, supporting more than 300 tokenised products and recently launching what it describes as the industry's first decentralised exchange aggregator API for market-order trading of tokenised RWAs.

SPCXx token distribution is expected to be completed before June 12, coinciding with the anticipated start of SpaceX trading on Nasdaq, while final allocations will be distributed on a pro-rata basis.

Bitget Wallet noted that xStock tokens provide economic exposure to the performance of the underlying equity but do not grant shareholders voting rights or ownership privileges associated with traditional shares.
