
BitFuFu leads August Bitcoin mining rebound

BitFuFu has increased August Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) production by 55% to 174 BTC.
CleanSpark has raised output by about 1% to 593 BTC, while Canaa has fallen 4% to 44 BTC.
BitFuFu has expanded its managed hashrate by 45.1% to 20.6 EH/s, after new capacity secured in June and July came online.
Its cloud mining output has more than doubled to 86 BTC, while self-mining production has risen 22% to 88 BTC.
CleanSpark has produced 4,903 BTC through August, while its holdings have fallen to 13,703 BTC after several transactions and sales.
Canaan has sold its entire 3,952 ETH position and 54 BTC, generating about US$13.9 million and funding US$5.4 million in share repurchases.
The August results have highlighted different strategies among listed miners, with BitFuFu expanding capacity, CleanSpark building data centres and Canaan reducing its crypto holdings.
At the time of reporting, Bitcoin price was $78,157.18.
