- Wallets holding 100–1,000 Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) accumulated 73,300 BTC over 60 days.

Wallets holding 100–1,000 Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) accumulated 73,300 BTC over 60 days through August 31, according to Amar Taha.
The cohort’s net buying reached its highest level since April 21, during a period of relatively low Bitcoin price volatility.
Taha also found wallets holding more than 10,000 Bitcoin accumulated 43,300 BTC over the same period.
The current pattern differs from April and May, when smaller whales bought while larger whales sold about 40,000 BTC.
That earlier divergence came before Bitcoin fell 25%, although the current accumulation does not guarantee a similar or opposite price move.
On-chain data cannot identify the owners or their intentions, so the figures do not prove institutional buying.
Bitcoin has traded within a broad range recently, while macroeconomic factors and broader risk appetite could still affect its price.
At the time of reporting, Bitcoin price was $78,706.42.
