Bitcoin mining difficulty fell 1.31% at block 963,648, marking the network’s 17th adjustment of 2026.
The latest drop left difficulty at 125.81 trillion, just 0.7% above this year’s low.
Bitcoin has recorded 10 difficulty drops against seven increases so far this year.
Difficulty started 2026 near 148.25 trillion before falling to its current level.
The lowest 2026 reading was 124.93 trillion on 13 June, before difficulty briefly recovered.
The latest data suggests about 150 exahashes per second (EH/s) of effective mining power has left the network.
Bitcoin’s price recovery has improved mining revenue, but the next difficulty adjustment could test whether that improvement lasts.
