Bitcoin holds US$64,600 as SpaceX unlocks

Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) held above US$64,600 on Thursday, gaining slightly on the day and 0.5% over seven days.

Buyers stepped in near US$62,500 earlier this week, pushing Bitcoin back above its 50-day moving average.

SpaceX has about US$101 billion of shares becoming tradable Thursday as its first lockup period expires.

Ethereum (CRYPTO:ETH) rose over 1% to US$1,904, while XRP (CRYPTO:XRP) fell almost 3% to US$1.04.

Solana (CRYPTO:SOL) fell nearly 1% to US$74, while BNB (CRYPTO:BNB) dropped over 1% to US$595.

SpaceX held 18,712 BTC worth about US$1.1 billion at June-end, linking its share unlock to crypto market attention.
