
Bitcoin ETFs top $3B in August
- US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded US$3.03 billion in August inflows.
- The funds have posted seven straight trading days of net inflows.
- Bitcoin briefly topped US$80,000 before falling to about US$78,880.
US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded US$3.03 billion in August inflows after seven straight positive trading days.
The total leaves August just US$390 million below October 2025, with four trading sessions remaining.
The inflow streak also cut the funds’ 2026 net outflow deficit by more than half to US$2.26 billion.
The funds added US$314.37 million on Tuesday, bringing cumulative net inflows to US$54.36 billion.
Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) briefly topped US$80,000 before trading at about US$78,880, down 2% over 24 hours.
US spot Ether ETFs also recorded seven straight days of inflows, adding US$179.8 million on Tuesday.
Total net assets across US spot Bitcoin ETFs reached US$99.05 billion as August inflows continued to rise.
At the time of reporting, Bitcoin price was $78,889.07.
