
Bitcoin Bancorp buys 2,547 ATMs for $621K
- Bitcoin Bancorp has agreed to buy 2,547 Bitcoin Depot ATMs for US$620,750.
- The machines represent just over one-quarter of Bitcoin Depot’s more than 9,200 kiosks.
- The deal follows Bitcoin Depot’s Chapter 11 filing after revenue fell 49% year on year.
Bitcoin Bancorp has agreed to buy 2,547 Bitcoin Depot ATMs for US$620,750.
The machines represent just over one-quarter of Bitcoin Depot’s more than 9,200 kiosks.
Bitcoin Bancorp has also agreed to buy related leases, intellectual property, trademarks, patents and the BitcoinDepot.com domain for US$110,500.
Bitcoin Depot filed for Chapter 11 protection in May after first-quarter revenue fell 49% from a year earlier.
Bitcoin Depot’s results also swung from a US$12.2 million profit to a US$9.5 million loss during the same period.
Bitcoin Depot valued its property and equipment at more than US$26 million in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Bitcoin Bancorp is a publicly traded digital-asset infrastructure company, while nearly 39,000 crypto ATMs remained operational worldwide in March 2026.
