  • Binance has launched regulated gold and silver perpetual contracts.
  • The products are settled in Tether (CRYPTO:USDT) through a regulated Abu Dhabi entity.
  • The exchange said it plans to expand the range with more traditional assets.

Binance has launched perpetual contracts linked to gold and silver through Nest Exchange Limited, its regulated entity in Abu Dhabi Global Market.

The contracts, XAUUSDT and XAGUSDT, are settled in Tether (CRYPTO:USDT) and let traders track gold and silver prices without owning the metals.

"The launch of TradFi Perpetual Contracts marks a key step in bridging traditional finance and crypto innovation. By providing round-the-clock access to conventional assets with a seamless trading experience, we empower users to diversify and manage their portfolios more effectively," said Binance Vice President of Product Jeff Li.

The products are regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority under the Abu Dhabi Global Market framework.

Binance said the contracts give users continuous access to precious metals through its derivatives platform.

The exchange said it plans to introduce more perpetual contracts linked to traditional financial assets.

The launch reflects growing interest among crypto exchanges in offering regulated products tied to traditional markets.
