Binance adds options on 1,000 US stocks

• Binance has launched options on more than 1,000 US stocks and ETFs for eligible non-US users.
• The physically settled contracts expand Binance’s existing offering of more than 7,000 US stocks and ETFs.
• TradFi perpetual futures volume on Binance reached about $433 billion in August.

Binance has launched options on more than 1,000 US stocks and ETFs for eligible users outside the United States.

The physically settled contracts are offered through Binance’s Abu Dhabi-regulated broker-dealer, Nest Trading.

Orders are routed to US-registered Alpaca Securities for execution, clearing, settlement and custody, according to Binance.

Unlike equity-linked perpetual futures, the options deliver or require delivery of the underlying shares when exercised.

The launch expands Binance’s existing equities offering, which covers more than 7,000 US stocks and ETFs.

Binance said TradFi perpetual futures volume reached about $433 billion in August, roughly 15 times January’s total.

The move adds to a wider shift among crypto platforms towards stocks, ETFs and other traditional financial products.
