Base has launched a Creator Grant Program offering independent creators up to US$4,000 for content about its ecosystem and builders.
The programme targets creators covering Base, an Ethereum (CRYPTO:ETH) layer-2 network, through articles, videos, shows, analysis and social media content.
Base said applications are open to writers, streamers, live show hosts, independent video creators and educators creating content in their own languages.
Selected creators can also receive access to Base builders and potential coverage through the network’s regional social accounts.
Emerging creators can apply for separate Creator of the Week bounties worth up to US$500, according to Base.
Base has not disclosed the programme’s total funding, number of recipients or duration, and it has not said how individual grant amounts will be decided.
The programme follows Base’s decision to end its earlier Creator Rewards programme and move away from its Farcaster-powered social strategy and content coins.
At the time of reporting, Ethereum price was $2,397.69.
