B3, the Brazilian stock exchange, launched options on Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC), Ether (CRYPTO:ETH) and Solana (CRYPTO:SOL) futures on July 6.
The new contracts settle into futures rather than the underlying cryptocurrencies and do not involve custody or transfer of digital assets.
Bitcoin options are priced in Brazilian reais, while Ether and Solana futures options are priced in US dollars and reference Nasdaq crypto indexes.
The contracts trade from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. local time, with options automatically exercised at expiry if they finish in the money.
B3 said the products give investors a regulated way to hedge crypto exposure, trade volatility and build structured strategies without using offshore markets.
The launch expands B3's regulated crypto product range after previously introducing Bitcoin futures, Ether and Solana futures, and preparing Bitcoin-linked event contracts.
At the time of reporting, Bitcoin price was $63,816.31.
