Ault Capital Group launched Ault Blockchain, a Layer 1 blockchain designed to support tokenised assets and regulated financial services.
The company said the network combines Proof-of-Work and Proof-of-Stake with licensed validator nodes and on-chain governance to support financial applications.
“The future of finance requires infrastructure built for both compliance and innovation,” the company said.
Ault Blockchain is designed to support tokenised equities, crypto trading, lending and other financial products, subject to regulatory approvals and protocol rules.
The company said the network is intended to help financial institutions and developers build blockchain-based services for regulated markets.
Tokenisation converts ownership of real-world assets into blockchain-based digital tokens that can be transferred more efficiently.
The launch comes as banks, asset managers and financial firms continue expanding their use of blockchain technology for tokenised assets and digital settlement.
