Anthropic is reportedly raising $10bn in a new funding round that would value the AI company at about $350bn.

Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund GIC and investment firm Coatue Management are expected to lead the financing, according to reports.

The proposed valuation would almost double Anthropic’s previous $183bn valuation reached in September.

The funding reflects sustained investor appetite for artificial intelligence following a record year for AI investment in 2025.

Anthropic was founded in 2021 by former Google researcher Dario Amodei and his sister Daniela.

The company has gained traction with its Claude chatbot, particularly among business users for coding and enterprise applications.

Anthropic is also set to receive up to $15bn in additional investment from Nvidia and Microsoft.

The company projects it will break even by 2028, ahead of some major rivals in the sector.

Anthropic is expected to pursue an initial public offering later this year, according to people familiar with the plans.
