  • Aero has launched a unified decentralised exchange platform combining Aerodrome and Velodrome under one AERO token.
  • The launch spans seven networks, including Base, Ethereum, Optimism, Arbitrum and Robinhood Chain.
  • Existing AERO and VELO holders can convert their tokens into the new AERO under set exchange rates.

Aero launched on 21 October 2026, merging Aerodrome and Velodrome into one decentralised trading platform across seven blockchain networks.

The launch brings liquidity from both protocols under one system, with AERO serving as the unified token.

The new token supply goes entirely to existing holders, with 94.5% allocated to the Aerodrome community and 5.5% to the Velodrome community.

Existing AERO converts to the new token at a 1:1 ratio, while each VELO converts into approximately 0.044 AERO.

The platform directs 100% of pool-level exchange revenue to sAERO holders who choose where AERO rewards go.

Aero launched across Base, Ethereum mainnet, OP Mainnet, Arc, Ink, Robinhood Chain and Arbitrum, extending its liquidity infrastructure across seven networks.

The project said the launch has no venture-capital backing or token sale, while security reviews included audits by Sherlock and ChainSecurity and a three-week public audit contest.

Following the launch, Aero’s ability to attract trading activity and liquidity across seven networks will be key to its growth.
