Aave (CRYPTO:AAVE) said its decentralised lending protocol has reached US$10.6 billion in active loans, marking a new milestone for the platform.
The update follows continued growth in borrowing activity across decentralised finance as users increasingly access blockchain-based lending services.
Active loans represent the total value of digital assets currently borrowed through the protocol, and Aave said the figure demonstrates sustained lending activity across its supported blockchain networks.
Aave allows users to lend and borrow cryptocurrencies without a traditional financial intermediary and operates across multiple blockchain ecosystems.
The protocol has continued expanding its lending services and cross-chain integrations as decentralised finance adoption has grown.
At the time of reporting, Aave price was $97.23.
