Aave launches Sentora-curated lending markets on Ethereum
- Aave has launched three externally curated lending markets through Sentora on its V4 protocol.
- Users can borrow RLUSD, PYUSD and OUSD against yield-bearing assets and bitcoin-linked collateral.
- Sentora manages market risk settings, while Aave governance retains smart contract ownership and oversight.
Aave (AAVE) has launched three Sentora-managed lending markets on Ethereum, enabling borrowing against yield-bearing and bitcoin-linked collateral.
The markets operate on Aave V4, which separates shared liquidity hubs from individual lending markets with distinct collateral and risk rules.
Sentora manages collateral selection, interest rates and market risk parameters, while Aave governance retains ownership of the underlying smart contracts.
The launch supports borrowing in Ripple USD (RLUSD), PayPal USD (PYUSD) and Origin Dollar (OUSD), using different collateral configurations across three markets.
The RLUSD Yield and OUSD Yield markets accept USDe, PRIME, mWIN and PST as collateral, while the Bluechip market uses kBTC.
Sentora says its platform has allocated more than $2 billion across on-chain strategies, with over 1,000 risk models built into each strategy it runs.
Aave governance retains safeguards over the markets, including a 48-hour timelock for risk-increasing changes and review requirements for new assets.
Following the update, AAVE was trading up 0.2% at $149.50.
