Buy-now-pay-later provider Zip Co (ASX:ZIP) has launched an on-market share buyback programme of up to $50 million to manage its capital structure.
The programme follows an 11 September transaction where the business bought 9.7 million shares at $2.44 each for $23.7 million to offset equity plan dilution.
The company stated that the repurchase schedule remains flexible and subject to prevailing market conditions.
Zip stated that it retains the right to vary, suspend, or terminate the share repurchase programme at any time without prior notice.
Following the announcement, the Zip Co share price was up at $2.18.
The capital initiative builds on the company's previously completed $150 million share buyback executed during the 2026 financial year.
Zip reported a 27.2% increase in group total transaction volume to $16.7 billion alongside cash EBITDA growth of $268.9 million for the same period.
