
Zeus Resources buys copper project for US$2M

- The company secured firm commitments to raise $2 million via a share placement to fund the transaction.
- The acquisition expands the company's critical minerals portfolio into the Mauritanides orogenic belt in southern Mauritania.
Zeus Resources (ASX:ZEU) has agreed to acquire up to 100% of the Diaguili Copper-Gold Project for US$2 million.
Located in southern Mauritania, the permit area contains historical drilling intercepts, including 22.25 metres at 2.10% copper.
Under the terms, consideration is split evenly between a US$1 million investment and equity.
The company will issue shares and cash in four tranches across four completions over a 24-month period.
To fund the purchase, Zeus secured firm commitments for a placement at $2 million.
Following the announcement, the Zeus Resources share price was unchanged at $0.006.
The company continues to focus on early-stage exploration and critical mineral asset acquisitions in under-explored regions.
