Zeotech (ASX:ZEO) signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with VINCI Construction Service Partagé to collaborate on concrete trials and demonstrations using its AusPozz high-performance metakaolin.
The arrangement pairs a specialist materials firm with a global construction and civil engineering enterprise delivering approximately 75,000 projects each year across commercial buildings, transport infrastructure, energy infrastructure, water systems, industrial facilities, and major civil works.
"Reducing the embodied carbon of concrete requires collaboration and the evaluation of innovative materials and solutions," said VINCI Construction Lower Carbon Concrete Solutions Supply Olivia Tillier.
Under the terms of the agreement, Zeotech will supply agreed quantities of AusPozz alongside technical support and guidance, while both parties exchange technical information and test results generated through the collaboration.
The collaboration is intended to advance the application of high-reactivity metakaolin in low-carbon concrete and support the continued development and commercialisation of AusPozz, according to company statements.
Following the announcement, the Zeotech share price was unchanged at $0.76.
The company focuses on leveraging its wholly owned kaolin resources to produce high-reactivity metakaolin for the low-carbon concrete market and advanced materials for greenhouse gas mitigation.
