XRF Scientific (ASX:XRF) announced the acquisition of the combustion gas analysis business from Bruker AXS SE.

The deal, executed via XRF's subsidiary, XRF Technology (WA), involves a binding asset purchase agreement for the elemental analysis division.

With no conditions precedent remaining, the transaction is expected to finalise imminently upon the transfer of upfront cash consideration.

The acquisition integrates four specialised instruments into XRF’s catalogue, designed for the rapid and precise elemental analysis of carbon, sulphur, oxygen, hydrogen, and nitrogen.

The analysers utilise advanced methodologies, including inert gas fusion, hot extraction, and combustion by induction heating.

As part of the transition, established product lines like the "G4 Icarus" will be rebranded under the XRF Scientific banner.

The tools are critical across diverse industrial sectors, ranging from nuclear energy and rare earth magnetism to large-scale cement, steel, and glass manufacturing.

In 2025, the unit generated US$5.3 million in unaudited revenue through a combination of instrument sales, spare parts, and ongoing servicing.

The business boasts a blue-chip industrial customer base with a global footprint, particularly across Europe, North America, and Asia.

At the time of reporting, XRF Scientific’s share price was $1.90.
