X2M Connect enters MOU for 2GW data pipeline
- X2M Connect entered a non-binding MOU with Gateway DC to support its data centre pipeline.
- The collaboration covers marketing, sale, and delivery across Australia and South East Asia.
- The agreement expands X2M's deployment of AI-enabled environmental management systems.
X2M Connect (ASX:X2M) has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Gateway Datacentres to collaborate on data centre infrastructure across Australia.
The two-year agreement pairs X2M’s environmental management capabilities with Gateway DC’s project pipeline, which scales from 120MW to over 2GW.
X2M CEO Mohan Jesudason said, “The opportunity to provide environmental, energy management and ESG related platform services to Gateway DC for their large data centre projects delivers huge potential for the X2M Platform Services business.”
Under the terms, X2M proposes deploying an AI-enabled platform to unify energy generation, storage, and environmental sensors into a single system.
The company stated that the platform has the potential to generate recurring revenue subject to binding agreements.
Following the announcement the X2M Connect share price was unchanged at $0.0070.
This deal builds on a binding data centre agreement exceeding $250 million and two prior non-binding partnerships announced earlier in 2026.
X2M operates a business model focused on earning delivery fees for facility construction along with ongoing platform management revenue.
