
Worley (ASX:WOR) has been awarded the construction and fabrication contract for Suncor Energy's Firebag Debottleneck Project in Alberta, Canada.
Under the agreement, Worley will provide module fabrication and field construction services at the Firebag Central Processing Facility, building on its previous work delivering engineering and procurement services for the project.
The contract is expected to run for 24 months, covering early construction involvement through to commissioning and start-up.
Chris Ashton, Worley's CEO, said, "The addition of this next phase highlights the value of our end-to-end project delivery capabilities and supports our strategy to capture more full project delivery work. Worley has supported Suncor for more than 30 years, and this award reinforces the long-standing partnership between the two companies."
At the time of reporting, Worley's share price was $12.66.
