WiseTech Global (ASX:WTC) has appointed Jeff Howard as its CFO, effective Sept. 28.
Howard brings extensive leadership background to the role, having previously served as CEO and CFO at Seven West Media (ASX:SWM) between 2020 and 2026.
"He brings deep financial strategy and leadership experience from his time as CFO and CEO of a major ASX-listed media company," said WiseTech Global Independent Chair Raelene Murphy.
The appointment builds on recent board changes, including the addition of Tim Ebbeck as the new chair of the Audit & Risk Committee.
Howard noted that the growth of CargoWise, recent acquisitions, and AI integration made this a key time to join the software provider.
Following the announcement, the WiseTech Global share price was up at $40.38.
Before leading Seven West Media, Howard spent seven years as the chief financial officer of HT&E (ASX:HT1) from 2012 to 2019.
His earlier career includes nine years in corporate banking at ABN AMRO and RBS, along with a decade as a chartered accountant at KPMG.
