Perth-based explorer Win Metals (ASX:WIN) bolstered its regional portfolio, announcing two strategic gold transactions designed to scale the Radio Gold Project through high-grade acquisitions.
The company has acquired the fully permitted Princess Royal Gold Mine, situated 80km from the Radio site and a mere 5km from the established Edna May operations.
Complementing this move, Win has secured an exclusive option to acquire the Stumpy Doodle Gold Mine, located just 10km north of the primary project area.
A key advantage of the acquisitions is their location on granted Mining Leases, providing Win Metals with a streamlined pathway toward potential development by bypassing several early-stage regulatory hurdles.
The Princess Royal asset, in particular, showcases exceptional historical potential, with an exploration target ranging between 26,000 and 40,000 tonnes at grades of 8.0 to 12.0g/t Au.
High-grade intercepts from the site further validate the project's quality, featuring standout results such as 2m @ 31.47g/t Au and 2m @ 30.47g/t Au.
The company is moving rapidly to capitalise on these additions, with drill planning already underway at Princess Royal and exploration scheduled for Stumpy Doodle during the option period.
By integrating the high-margin ore sources, Win Metals has not only expanded its project footprint and resource potential but has also increased the overall flexibility of its future development scenarios.
At the time of reporting, Win Metals' share price was $0.025.
