Retail conglomerate Wesfarmers (ASX:WES) announced plans to expand its K Home format following a 3,000sqm trial.

The development follows Kmart Group sales rising 2.8% to $11.75 billion in the 2026 financial year.

The company stated wholesale growth slowed due to foreign retailer anxiety regarding international tariff volatility.

Following the announcement, the Wesfarmers share price was down at $79.32.

Wesfarmers currently operates six Anko locations in the Philippines through a partnership with mall owner Ayala.

The business stated it will refine the store model before expanding the concept nationally.
