  • Chemist Warehouse is set to secure four profitable Priceline pharmacy locations in Queensland and Victoria following the administration of key franchisee Infinity Pharmacy.
  • Wesfarmers  shares were trading unchanged at $79.40 following the reports.
  • The company stated that the network changes stem from lease decisions made by landlords during the administration process.

Wesfarmers (ASX:WES) is reportedly set to lose four profitable Priceline pharmacy leases and about $25 million in annual sales to rival Chemist Warehouse after the administration of franchisee Infinity Pharmacy.

The pharmacy group acquired the Priceline chain in 2022 through Australian Pharmaceutical Industries, marking its first major entry into the healthcare retail sector.

“The battle has been lost, as the landlord has made up its mind already to not renew those leases,” said an anonymous source familiar with the sale process.

Landlord Retail First chose not to renew leases for three Brisbane sites in Calamvale, Sunny Park, and Sunnybank Hills, alongside a fourth location in Carrum Downs, Victoria.

Following the announcement, the Wesfarmers share price was unchanged at $79.40.

The Perth-based conglomerate also owns major Australian retail brands, including Bunnings, Officeworks, and Kmart.

Infinity Pharmacy entered voluntary administration in late 2025 after accumulating more than $400 million in debts.
