Vista Group secures major six-year Cinépolis deal

Share

Vista Group International (ASX:VGL) secured a landmark six-year agreement with Cinépolis to transition its Mexican circuit to Vista Cloud Operational Excellence.

As Cinépolis’ largest cinema network globally, the Mexican circuit comprises 504 sites and more than 4,100 screens.

The migration is scheduled to take place over the course of 2026, with commercial terms officially commencing retrospectively from Jan 1.

The contract follows the successful digital transformation of Cine Yelmo, Cinépolis’ 51-site Spanish circuit, which adopted Vista Cloud’s digital enablement and operational excellence capabilities between 2024 and 2025.

The proven success of the Spanish pilot and its subsequent migration execution provided the foundation for expanding the partnership into the Mexican market.

Cinépolis currently ranks as the largest cinema exhibitor in Mexico and leads the global industry in terms of ticket sales and per-auditorium attendance.

Stuart Dickinson, CEO of Vista Group, expressed immense pride in the newly finalised deal, highlighting that it validates the market fit of their cloud capabilities for premier global exhibitors.

Dickinson noted that Cinépolis continues to be a highly innovative partner, and Vista Group looks forward to building on this collaboration throughout 2026.
