Ventia secures $405M Yarra Valley contract
Ventia Services Group (ASX:VNT) announced a major contract renewal with Yarra Valley Water.
Valued at an estimated $405 million, the nine-year agreement solidifies Ventia's long-standing role as a critical partner in managing Melbourne’s essential services.
The partnership is set to commence in October.
The consolidated contract covers a comprehensive range of responsibilities, including reactive maintenance for sewerage and water networks, alongside planned and reactive mechanical and electrical works.
The renewal follows the implementation of Yarra Valley Water’s updated delivery model, which divides maintenance services between two strategic partners across the North and South regions.
Ventia has secured the South region, a win that underscores its reputation for operational excellence and reliability.
Managing Director and Group CEO Dean Banks expressed pride in the achievement, noting that the team has consistently delivered strong results in response times and customer experience.
As the company prepares for the 2026 start date, Banks emphasised a shift towards transformational asset management and enhanced service delivery.
At the time of reporting, Ventia Services Group’s share price was $6.01.
