Valiant Gold extends South Emu-Triton mineralisation by 400m

  • Valiant Gold received its first assay results from the maiden drilling programme at the South Emu-Triton deposit.
  • The company's shares increased following the announcement of deep gold intercepts below the existing resource.

Valiant Gold (ASX:VAL) intersected gold mineralisation 400m below its resource at South Emu-Triton.

The drilling targeted extensions below the existing resource of 1.7 million tonnes at 4.0 grammes per tonne gold.

The deepest drill hole returned a high-grade intercept of 34.2m at 2.97 grammes per tonne of gold.

That specific intercept included a high-grade zone of 3.6m at 15.55 grammes per tonne of gold.

Following the announcement, the Valiant Gold share price was up at $0.23.

The wholly owned Reedy Gold Project is situated within the Murchison region of Western Australia.

The company stated that this mineralised system extends over a 100-metre horizontal width.
